A Possible Cross-curricular project - Bread

Some ideas on how Bread can be used as a vehicle to develop a cross curricular map of teaching. Included are the stages the thought process goes through, and a start to a medium term plan.

The Bread theme came from discussions with the Education Officer at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, who runs awareness raising courses courses on agriculture and food.
When picking a theme to develop it helps if it covers an area which is of interest to the developer - greater relevance and a wider range of connections ensues.
Unfortunately it was not possible to further develop cross curricular links with other colleagues. This would be the next stage, working with a like minded colleague in another subject.
